- What's your shelter status? A volunteer, an activist, a worker?
- We are a 501 c3 all animal rescue. We have a great adoption rate and have help many animals find their forever homes!
- What shelters do you help with or want to network about?
- Lancaster Shelter is close by, I adopt from there from time to time and re- home the animal. I usally get calls on wandering animals and try to help find the owner or re home them.

Kennel Cough!
Well, I took in a sponcored puppy who now has Kennel Cough!
She was due to be PTS on the 21st and a woman saved her and I am fostering her. I have 2 dogs with Auto Immune problems, a senor (10) and a crippled, cancer dog..
What are the chances of them getting this? I have never had this before and I am freaking out! I got 4 hours of sleep last night, so did Maxie... Being the weekend, I have to wait to take her to the vet. I gave her 250 mg of Amoxicillan in hopes to helping her

My experience at the Lancaster shelter.
I lost one of my favorite rescue's ( Yes, he was titled too before I rescued him) to AIHA back in September. I have not been taking his death well. He died in our livingroom floor while the Monday night football game was on. I will never forget whispering "I LOVE YOU" in him ear while he took his last breath. Is this for real!!! I can't believe this.. they just need to boot out all the people running the shelters and let the crazy rescue people do it at least the animals wont be killed off to make room!
On the other sick dog that you'd like to save, but you're at your limit and what do you do - you must have a good friend who'd come through, for you, to adopt the dog out and hold on to it while you find it a new owner - that would be about the best idea to do right now to save it.
