ShelterWatch can be an online anonymous (or not) networking community of shelter volunteers, animal rights activists, and co-operative workers who are concerned for, and want to network about, the care and quality-of-life issues for all animals.

Email Adopt-A-Pet Link To Your Contacts - For Them To Email Their Contacts
While you're involved, get them involved as they are your greatest "warm" contact resources and are most receptive in helping your cause.
Add the link to each of your email addresses' signature line so that it will appear in each email you send out. Add it to any websites you have, and ask your contacts if they would also. Ask them to add the link to their email signatures for all of their emails, and have them ask their contacts. This then, becomes a networking campaign, is a constant per-email P.R. promotion, and it doesn't require much, in order to help rescue more lives. Then your network becomes much greater than one individual effort.

Kennel Cough!
Well, I took in a sponcored puppy who now has Kennel Cough!
She was due to be PTS on the 21st and a woman saved her and I am fostering her. I have 2 dogs with Auto Immune problems, a senor (10) and a crippled, cancer dog..

My experience at the Lancaster shelter.
I lost one of my favorite rescue's ( Yes, he was titled too before I rescued him) to AIHA back in September. I have not been taking his death well. He died in our livingroom floor while the Monday night football game was on. I will never forget whispering "I LOVE YOU" in him ear while he took his last breath.
